It just came to my attention that Jezebel titled her post about this craze “Obama-crombie Chronicles.”

For the record, I came up with the title of my post completely independent of Jezebel. As evidenced above, I do not read Jezebel.

If only I had posted before her, I could claim all the credit …

Lindsay, you are hilarious and I may start to stalk you. As for the attire at Clinton rallies: we Clinton supporters wear sensible, working class, church-going clothing: coveralls, patriotic baseball caps, NRA lapel pins, and the like. We’re not showy, brand name folk…just real, down-home Americans.

You are indeed an old-fashioned optimist…but I love you. When you sent me this link, the first thing I thought of is that the marketing genius behind that just got a raise.

Seriously, you cannot beat advertising like that. It’s an extremely powerful, impressionable demographic watching the speech. Obama has made a talking point of how he gets young people to give him their hard-earned money - who wouldn’t want to capitalize on that?

The question I have is whether anyone from the Obama crew knew! Did they give those seats purposefully? Was someone getting a cut? That’s the real question, in my opinion.

Either way, props to Abercrombie. While I don’t like anyone taking advantage of my luscious Barack (even though Steve says the reign of Hill is clearly upon us, be warned!), whoever came up with that needs a promotion.
