Free Distraction Part I
April 26, 2008 by smahieu
During all of this studying for finals, I thought I’d provide periodic YouTube distractions for everyone. Mostly I wanted to see if it was possible to embed videos into a blog post using WordPress (success!).
Presenting “Bubb Rubb” and “Lil Sis” . . .
Did you notice the numerous moving violations as they drove off at the end of the clip? Note the double yellow line, the stop sign, the parked and moving cars they almost hit, etc.
Ok, you better get back to studying . . . unless you are in a class graded on a curve with me, in which case you deserve to take the rest of the day off.
This is true, but I don’t think it gets old. I want to make an alarm clock in the shape of Bubb Rubb’s head and have alarm noise be his voice saying “whistles go whoo!” My second post is going to be from 2006, and I may eventually make it to 2008.
re: finals timewasters, may i present the Xbox paper airplane game?

my best is 143.22 meters.
“It’s just decorations!”
See facebook posted items for all my favorite scenes from Scrubs.
I’ve been alternating between http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com and http://www.overheardinnewyork.com for my study breaks. Like I need to read any more…
I was just discussing this video with someone the other day. I LOVE IT. It was a huge instigator of inside jokes with my friends in college … the one-liners never get old.
“‘Dat’s only in tha mornin’!” WOO WOO
Thank you for finding it for me again.
i wonder how many hits we actually get once you subtract the bloggers from the count.
on my last study break, i googled myself and found that there’s a sex offender in MO with my first and last name.
so that’s good.
Ms. Ford, you have single-handedly derailed any hope I had of obtaining a passing GPA for the semester by introducing me to http://www.passiveaggressivenotes.com. People are funny stuff….
We’re law students, so I assume we’re all anal grammar nerds. Thus, I present, the “blog” of “unnecessary” quotation marks.

I think my favorite part of that video is Bubb Rubb demonstrating the whistle tips–and blowing through a stop sign…
Sandista: googled my name, and along with the fencing articles that come up, there’s a Morgan Engling in this world who posted on a ‘Young Parents Guestbook’ who had a kid when she was 14. Bravo. I kind of wish I had a more common name.
